HOW IS?

TTEMAS emergency response plan activated

The plan can be activated in the following manner:

  1. Verify that an emergency has occurred requiring mutual aid.
  2. Assure that your facility ER Plan has been activated.
  3. Call the NGC Control Operator at 800- 4GAS; or
  4. Contact the NGC Control Operator, using the NGC Radio located in the Control Room of the facility; or
  5. Use the TTEMAS Emergency Channel; or

  7. Take charge until formally relieved (or assure that someone has assumed the role of Incident Commander).
  8. Warn employees, visitors, neighbours, provide for their safety.
  9. Evacuate the facility or recommend shelter in place as necessary.
  10. Activate the Incident Management System.
  11. Initiate the facility ER Procedures.
  12. Activate the Command Post, Staging Area.
  13. Assure the IMS is activated.
  14. Confirm level of emergency.
  15. Refer to mutual aid procedures.
